St. Jude Social Services serves a wide variety of the disadvantaged members of our community by providing food and clothing assistance.
St. Jude Food Pantry – distributes food to individuals and families in need. An average of 10,000 pounds of food is provided for an average of 1,000 people per month. In 2016, over 135,000 pounds of food was distributed to over 10,000 people.
The food pantry is open Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (*closed for lunch from noon to 1:00 p.m.), and Friday from 9:00 a.m. – noon.
Must register to receive food. New registrants may come between 9:00 a.m. – and 10:30 a.m. Monday – Friday. Please bring a valid Picture ID, a monthly income statement and a food stamp verification letter (if you receive food stamps).
St. Jude Clothing Closet – an assortment of clothes available to people in need. The clothing closet is open Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (*closed for lunch from noon to 1:00 p.m.), and Friday from 9:00 a.m. – noon. *No registration required
St. Jude Outreach – every week, members of our staff visit the homes of those in need, delivering food and providing encouragement. In addition to a small staff, members from St. Jude Church volunteer their time to assist us in meeting these needs.
St. Jude Soup Kitchen – where we serve a hot breakfast every Saturday morning to those in need between the hours of 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. The soup kitchen opened in October 2015 and has since served over 8,000 meals.
